One day I was hiking upstream through a canyon
on my mission to a waterfall.
Everything was so healthy and lush
after very abundant Summer rains,
saguaros were filled up with water to their highest capacity.
At one point I had to climb higher on top of a canyon's wall,
and I spotted this magnificent big horn sheep!
He was standing right across of me,
on the other side of a smaller inner canyon,
so there is a stream flowing between us.
For a while, we were just staring into each other with curiosity.
It was a very enriching experience and a blessing
to reflect in such a way with this amazing being!
