My wife and I took a little trip to see some beach-style Christmas light displays!
It may be warm outside and not feeling like the Christmas season weather-wise, but we decided to take a short journey to get into the Christmas spirit anyway! So we went to a beach scene where the locals decorate lifeguard chairs for Christmas! This is what we saw...
So many lights and displays as we walked up.
Proof-of-wife, so you know I'm not lying!
Now get out of the way! It's my turn!
Boats and animals...it was a recurring theme. Go figure.
And presents!
Anchors aweigh!
This boat was not secured. It was left adrift in the middle of the park. Pretty dangerous, if you ask me.
A bell tower for the kids to ring. And boy, did they ring it... a lot!
The soft, minty glow of the evergreen. It's enough to cool the senses and warm the spirits at the same time!
Because just a little light goes a long way...in terms of both physical and mental/emotional/spiritual darkness. (Wow! That's pretty deep, right?)
Holiday hijacker of the high seas!
And his squawking skeletal side-kick!
Can't forget about the traditional snowman - even, and especially, if there's no real snow.
And what snowman is complete without a bird in its hand? This one still had its feathers.
Santa's reindeer are on their way...straight into the ground, it seems. All those packages are weighing them down!
More presents!
And one last shot for the road. Green on palm with red and white background accents. It's so artistic!
I hope that helped get you into the Christmas spirit as well!
Make sure you set aside time to be with friends and/or family this week! If you don't see any more of my work before Monday, have a merry Christmas!
