This is the final result of about 10 of the best photos from a group of photos stacked together to bring out more detail and color in the moon. Its not perfect, but I think with practice and the use of hundreds of stacked photos I will be able to get some better results in the future.
Above are a few of the original photos I took before using software to stack and align the images in order to make a more detailed cropped photo.
I am not using the most ideal lens or setup for moon photography but I have enjoyed the learning process and hope to upgrade the lens in the future.
