Last gasp of Fall?
It has been a pretty hard week for me, so when things get hard I like to get out and get some pictures. This is a selection of a few smart phone pictures I took yesterday, I hope to be able in the next few days share some of the Nikon camera images, but they still sit on my camera.
A lot of fishermen getting that last fish fix in for the season. There were only two empty parking slots when we were leaving.
It was a pretty nice day, a pretty nice drive, and full of color. We had some nice witches broom type clouds, (high cirrus) to give the sky some texture, and there was plenty of color in the trees.
The road home, the birch are doing pretty good along the road, we do have some dead spruce trees, It is a pleasant drive home, no significant buildings or junk to mar the view of the trees and Mt Redoubt in the distance, it seems everyone prefers not to be right on the street.
Well that is it for now, these were a few of the pictures from the smartphone, no editing, just resizing. I hope the rest of the week picks up, and I hope you all have a good week.
