If you watch American movies, you've probably seen this cafe, they use it's location all the time:
What's funny is that it's also right across the street of the Elementary school I went to, and I've been inside a couple of times but never to eat. After school, we would stop by to get a coke (soda; pop, whatever you call it) but they were absolute dick heads and wouldn't let us sit down. I mean, I get it; we were just a bunch of kids but I always thought it was pretty shitty.
The inside was dark and dingy, and since the people who worked there were such jerks, I stopped going and made it a point never to go as an adult. So there!
They've recently given the place a total face lift - albeit EXACTLY the same, just shiny and new - and one of my best friends wanted to meet for breakfast there, so I met up with him on Friday. The place looks amazing inside. The booths are bright orange, the decor is old school without being all lame and millenial-like and the food was really good. We ate and talked and drank coffee for a while and then (get this!) THEY KICKED US OUT!! AHAHAHHAHAAA!!
I couldn't believe it! They said there were people waiting for a table and so could we please leave. Maybe this is a thing that happens but I've NEVER had it happen to me before, hahahahaa!!
