These two shots were taken about 10 minutes apart. The lighting difference between them wasn't quite as drastic in real life, but the changes in clouds and exposure settings created 2 very distinct photos. The clouds of rain were magnificent over the mountain range.
For this photo I put the log more in focus to exaggerate the color contrast.
