Yesterday, the weather took a great turn here in the UK so I ventured into Richmond Park and further south to Kew gardens.
The subject of the photograph is The Royal Star and Garter Home which is a Grade II Listed Building that took three years to build from 1921. It originally was used accommodate nursing facilities for seriously injured servicemen and is a Grade II Listed Building.
It was sold in April 2013 for £50 million to a housing developer which restored and converted the building into apartments.
The photograph also shows the unmistakable silhouette of central London on the horizon and Richmond Park off to the righthand side.
