Since I started to shoot almost exclusively with manual old lenses, the sentence "drawing with light" took a whole new meaning, an almost literal one.
For those who doesn't know, the word "photography" has Greek roots. (Phōtos) that means "light", and (graphé) that means "representation by means of lines" or "drawing". Put those two together and you get something like "drawing with light".
A thing that this little 50mm Pentacon does exceptionally well.

Both these shots were taken in the same sunny day, on a field covered with Moroccan Chamomile flowers, somewhere in the hot Southern Portuguese countryside.
