My brother went through some old picture earlier today and I told him to send any old fishing pics of me that he found.
He came up with this gem of a pretty nice sized mudfish that I caught in the Hillsborough River a few years back. This is a really nice section of the river than normal boats can't navigate. That means if you have a kayak, you can get some pretty exclusive fishing spots out there, and we have done quite well fishing in that location.
Mudfish really aren't good for anything except a decent fight. Sometimes you will get a big mudfish on and think that you have a really nice bass, only to be disappointed once you see the mudfish. Mudfish are also known as Bowfin.

I know that this picture is at least 4 years old because I can see that I was still using my brother's fishing reel in this picture, and that was before he got me a really nice one for my birthday one year.
