Cyberpunk is a literary and aestetical sub-genre of the Science Fiction where are hi tecnology advancements, but not use to the people that have low lives; something where OUR humanity is advancing to.
Cyberpunk stories usually are centered around lowlife people in dire needs, living in overpopulated cities, and the protagonist it´s a hacker, a guy (or gal) that does thing for a living, and tends to be contracted by corportations or corponations to do a black hand or backdoor bidding.

In most cyberpunk universes things are very hard, despite of the high technology available, for example get food, items, even get to the ATM for money (why do you need money if cryptocurrency is on).
In the most HI-TECH cyberpunk universe, people it´s able to recreate things from Vending Machines, that has nano-bots and material to create (PRINT 3D) almost everything, from food to weaponry.... but you gotta have the license to get it and the credits, that certainly comes from a crypto or block-chain system to balance economy, and usually it´s collapsed in a malthusian nightmare; few resourcers for Billions of people.
Games like Infinity the game, from Corvus Belli and Netrunner-Android from Fantasy Flight Games reflects this; lowlife as mercenaries or companies, fighting for a living in a not so dystopic dystopia.

As Example at infinity the game, hackers are able to lock an enemy on the battlefield to be easily detected, stop or turning off enemy equipment or exo-armors, to overide enemy mechs, and even overcharing the adversary hacker neural cortex to do letal harm.
Cyberpunk has ninjas! infiltrators and secret operatives among everywhere to do missions. and that´s something great since it´s what you like to see from the movies and the pop-media about the future and cyberpunk.
Even in a hi-tech future, there is always analogic solutions.
