These tiny and aggressive birds are most active in the morning, hunting for insects inside and underneath the bushes.
This photo is part of my "little brow bird" or LBB series to give tribute to the smaller shy birds that don't always get the recognition that they deserve for their role in the ecosystem.
I took this photo in a small nature reserve inside the city limits of Cape Town South Africa, a place with some awesome bird life called Intaka Island, it is well worth a visit!
