My first lesson of photography

Recently I've discovered a new passion, Photography. Luckily, my best friend is a professional photographer ( Hive account@vmoldo check his posts you'll not regret it) so I've asked him to give me some tips and advice. We went for a beer in a local bar and he took my smartphone and open the Lightroom app and started to show me the menu. I was very surprised how much you can do with a smartphone nowadays. As he explained to me the basic information he started to retouch one of my posted photo and after a 2 hours lesson this is what I've managed to do under his guidance:

I know that I have a lot to work to grow but for my first lesson, I am pretty confident that I'm on the right track. This will be a smartphone photo blog where I'll post things that I like and I hope I can create quality content.
My lesson started with the white balance adjustment:

then I adjusted the colors

and the final retouch was the details:

Finally, we compare our results and his retouch was much better but I've obtained a good job for the first lesson from him, which comming from him means a lot to me.
