Lapu-lapu City, Cebu, Philippines is where I lived in. One of the best attractions we had in here is the Mactan Shrine in which a great historical battle took place betwwen Lapu-lapu and Magellan.
Two Days ago, I had the privilege to visit the said place to meet a friend and as I enter the venue, the environment still looks the same, never fades but instead keeps on evolving.
One thing that captured my eyes the most is the remains after the celebration of "KADAUGAN sa MACTAN", so glad I was able to see the props used on that day.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
We had there the statue of Lapu-lapu and some old structures but I was not able to take a photo on it because there were lots of tourist on that day. I suggest if someday you will be able to visit the said place better stay until evening.
