Tsukiji fish market was an amazing experience. Fresh sushi and sashimi early in the morning and in the heart of the city. Prices also very reasonable straight from the fishmonger! Tsukiji is a walking distance from Ginza, one of the most expensive real estate in the world. So it's no surprise that one or the other had to move and obviously it would be the fish market.

Good fresh fish and i don't think the new market has the same charm. It looks a lot more corporate and sterile. I'm sure it gets the job done, though.
