Sorry , no colors yet! Really enjoying shooting these beach scenes in B+W for now. Don't worry, the sunset shots are coming.
I felt a ton more comfortable shooting strangers back in San Antonio. I guess because it's my hometown? It just felt a bit more safe to me. I almost feel like an intruder when I'm shooting street portraits here. Trying not to let that stop me though!
Prime example: This shot. This girl was surrounded by people 90% of the time I sat trying to get this shot, I kept shooting and watching and waiting though. I did get some looks but nobody was really "bothered" or at least not enough to actually say something to me. A good lesson in patience and not being too concerned with what others think of your actions.
I could not get these lines straight. I'm still not happy with the outcome. I must've taken this shot 20 times but I couldn't align the shoreline with the horizon and have the composition I was going for. Really happy with the look of the clouds and the silhouette of the lifeguard though. Silver linings.
Livin' their best lives. These ladies did not care one bit that I was snapping their photo.
Do you guys prefer the commentary with the photos or just the shots? Would love your feedback!
Thanks for stoppin' by!
