This is "Nutty" the squirrel. He lives in a tree outside my house and also in my attic! I caught him earlier as he was sleeping right outside my window. He fights with the feral cats below daily. He has a very loud noise he makes while shaking his tail up high right near my window. This time, he was quiet and still. He was so cute. I had to grab my camera and I think I got a nice one or two! I will post them in the order as I took them and realized he was trying to sleep but my camera's noise was waking him up so I closed my window. I have feral cats outside my house so he has to be careful around here. I have noticed the feral cats and also this squirrel do not sleep well, they keep opening their eyes and jumping up to look here or there. Nature seems rough, they have to keep a constant lookout for predators. Nature is amazing though and I love taking photographs of it.
He starts nodding off here........I'm trying to remain still and quiet but the camera is pretty loud. I have the window open and the screen open to get a clear view. He definitely knows I'm there as I'm only about 100 feet away from him. He is up really high, about 40 feet in the air!
And here he goes again, nodding off and actually going to sleep....
He hears my camera snapping shots! I didn't want to take anymore as I didn't want to disturb him.
The leaves alone are beautiful this time of year! These are all unedited, from my Canon Rebel.
