In an attempt to break the stereotype of Ireland being all forests and trees and green shit everywhere, I decided to do some photos with Martha in a desert full of cacti, but I couldn't find one, so we went to the forest.
It feels kinda dirty to admit it, but I used fill flash on most of the shots with Martha. There was a lot of green light bouncing around, and I didn't have an assistant or strobe stand. I did however have my Godox TT685 and big cheap bounce card. With TTL set down to around minus 3, and some sneaky catchlight editing, I think the effect of the on-camera fill flash is subtle and worthwhile in this instance.
We had a brilliant time, trying a few different spots around the forest, with a few different outfits. Looking forward to working with Martha again, and I'll be sure to post the pics here straight away. More from this shoot soon as I do some edits!
