We escaped the 30 degree Michigan weather inside the Frederick Meijer Garden 85 degree atrium. Each year in the early spring, the atrium is filled with butterflies. I tried so hard to capture the elusive blue morpho peleides and could only capture them with their wings closed (aka no vibrant blue showing). But one did swoop down in front of my face and almost took me out. If the butterfly didn't get me, the sudden 85 degree weather with humidity would've eventually. We're not used to it- it's been a brutal winter...
