If there's one MRT station that amazes me the most, it has to be Expo! Although it's been around for quite some time, it still looks so advanced — like a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie. The design and the materials used, mostly aluminum, concrete, and steel, give it a futuristic vibe. It's truly amazing!
It really gives off the vibe that I’m walking through the interior of an alien spaceship, thanks to the way the ceiling is designed. It’s definitely ahead of its time, and that’s what makes this station my top choice when it comes to intricate ceiling architecture. I’m a big fan of this kind of design because it’s not something I see often—excluding airport terminals, of course. So at this point, this MRT station is practically rivaling airport architecture.
