Mel and Jerry are my models today, I took plenty of other shots but I am pretty impressed with how these came out! Jerry is so happy I think he knows that it is vacation time and we get to all sorts of activities.
At Sooke Potholes just before you enter there is usually a waterfall up from the bridge but as Mel looks she sees only but a trickle, beautiful and peaceful swimming pool still. This is the area to be when it's hot, fresh cold spring water even though at a slow trickle with the heat. Jerry wasn't so impressed with the ledge leading into a deep pool of water as you can tell by his expression LOL.
I love this shot! Mel looks like she is in deep thought while Jerry watches for any threats, really Mel is wondering how to get him into the water without soaking herself.
We got Jerry on the rock but he was backwards as always 😂 that is about as for as he was willing to go.
Such an incredible place and that was only at the bottom swimming area, it goes so much further up!
We were only out for a first day of vacation relaxing walk with Jerry now it's time to head off for some ice cream or something 🤔
