Ticks are a major issue, at least for Jerry they love him for some reason this he gets the digestible tablets for flea and ticks. First time trying them and last year we went without, not good 3 ticks and that time of year is around the corner.
This guy used to refuse to sit on he same couch as you, he would immediately jump off as soon you sat down. We broke him of that, also he cuddles now! I don’t think before he was rescued he knew anything good about a humans home other then it has food. He’s very happy now,
Has taken a few years for him to get comfortable and every time we move it disrupts his calm but this is the responsibility of owning a rescue animal.
