Jerry is an excellent guard dog he has proven himself time and time again. This morning he was being fairly insistent to go down towards Glenwood Meats, somewhere we haven’t been going so frequently as of late.

I thought it was just the meat smell getting his attention as usual but he led me to this spot. He started following a scent right from our door where we keep our recycling. Looks as if we have some homeless people or at least less fortunate staying in our area in the bushes or at least using this spot as a hang out.

Furthermore I assume that Jerry was following the scent all the way from our door to this spot. From someone that had been rummaging through our neighbourhoods recycling bin, as you can see on the ground they have taken out the items they collected that were not returnable for a refund.

Not that I am particularly concerned as rummaging through recycling bins is a fairly innocent act but knowing we have some less fortunate people in our neighbourhood I will be certain to keep everything locked and put away.
