Changing the World Photography Contest Week 2 Winners.
Thanks to all the entrants for the second CTWphoto competition. The entries were definitely about visible rubbish that we can see in our environment and nature.
I chose @NorwegianSteem as the photograph has great impact, but all the entries about the rubbish on our environment are very moving, thanks and
for your entries which are excellent.
It makes me want to go out and volunteer to do a clean up somewhere!!!
Any steemers reading this post do any rubbish/ environment clean ups, or can recommmed one?
I chose in second place as I liked the message, and it is showing something positive that we can do ourselves!!
Grow your own food!! Do it as naturally as possible !!
It's a great message to follow.
Excellent work !!! Thanks!!
The winner (10 SBD)
When you see what gets washed up on shore, you can only imagine what floates around in the ocean. Plastic debries in all shapes and color. Very harmfull for the marine life and ecosystem.
Second Place (5SBD)
Our property is part of an old abandoned apple orchard. We have several old apple trees on the place that we do not use any pesticides or fertilizers on, and we get lots of delicious apples from the roughly 80 year old trees. I always think of Joni Mitchell this time of year... "Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees.... PLEASE!"
Runners up
(2 SBD)
Look at this small river the water is so polluted and full of garbage, because of the poeple who lives near on that river, I remember ten years ago when i was small kid I used to play and swim there with my friends every friday after we go to school.
I feel sad everytime i see the condition of this river now because we build a lot of joyful memories there, that simple place competed my childhood.

In this photos you can see garbage pollution as an environmental issue.
Households place garbage to outside home.
There is no good system of garbage collection.
Thanks for all the great entries!!
Week 3 - Celebration - Culture and tradition.
A photograph that helps to celbrate our local cultures and traditions. The photograph could be modern or traditional.
We are all different and we all should celebrate the things that make us special and unique.
