Hey guys,
I'm a cinematography student currently studying in Melbourne Australia. The very basics of cinematography is much like photography, so I like to make the best of both worlds. These pictures were taken with my Sony A6300 and edited with Adobe Lightroom.
Here is a picture of the well-known 'Polly Woodside' sailing ship, owned by William J. Woodside and named after the owner's wife, Mrs. Marian Polly Woodside. The ship is located in the South Wharf district area of the Docklands, this massive sailing ship was constructed in Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland, which also is the largest city of the country. The ship was launched in 1885, intended for deep water trade around the globe and was specifically designed to be as efficient as possible in order to sail around the world economically. Having little information like this goes a long way in regards to appreciating the moment when gazing at this ergonomic masterpiece, especially when taking photographs of it.
Here is a picture me overlooking the Yarra River and South Wharf Promenade.
Finally, we have a photograph of my classmate who helped take the picture of my hoodie shot. Located on the same bridge from the previous photo.
I appreciate all of you who read my this post, to any of you out there who are interested in Melbourne, let me know in the comment section below of what areas in Melbourne you'd like me to photograph. I'm happy to travel out further throughout the state if you have any good recommendations for me to go to.
Thanks for reading, expect more from me!
Sincerely,
Daniel J.
