Happy Father's Day to all the dads of the world out there. Thanks for being there for us through thick and thin, in all the good times and the bad. And for giving advice, fixing things, having a garage full of stuff we can rummage around in and later borrow, and in general, just being great role models and phenomenal dads to us kids. I'm quite sure we wouldn't be where we are today, if not for you.

I hope you remember to call your father today, or send him a card, or maybe even deliver him some purple flowers. I feel it's important to express your feelings in some form or another. He will greatly appreciate the thought.

Whatever these flowers are called, they're colorful, very violet, and a tribute to all you dads out there on your big day. Enjoy them with a beer, pizza, a BBQ, soda, ice tea, bowl of broccoli, cookies, big old fried fish, or whatever floats your dad boat.
