Flying at School
Between classes today, I spent some time flying my drone around campus. I am not sure if it is allowed, I am sure it isn't, but sometimes in these situations it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
It has been raining all morning, but there was a small break in the heavy rain and it was just sprinkling, so I took advantage of it and took the drone up. I was hoping to get some decent shots of the clouds over the mountains, but I was nervous to get too far away from me because I wasn't sure how much interference there was in this area and I didn't want to have my drone start acting crazy when it was about a half a mile away.
I am going to have to come out here to the campus on a weekend and fly around when there really isn't anyone around. Then I will be able to fly up closer to the building and get some cool reflection shots. There are a lot of cool shapes and lines on campus that could make some pretty awesome arial shots.
I wasn't able to fly for too long because the rain started up again. It was cool to fly in a new area other than my neighborhood. I need to get my drone out more and get some more pictures with it. It is fun.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post, you are awesome!
