The Salt Mines of Krakow

At the end of the tour of the Krakow Salt Mines, we came to a magnificent room that had some of the most intricate carvings I have ever seen in all my years.

The detail was amazing on the sculptures. I couldn't imagine how long it must have taken to complete these works of art down here about 600 feet underground carving out the stone by fire light. These were some incredibly skilled artist the worked here in Poland on this.

The Salt Mines were definitely an unforgettable experience of Steemfest. Hive account@roelandp truly did an amazing job organizing Steemfest this year and gave all of those in attendance some memories that will tide us all over until Steemfest 4. I can't wait until the next one and to update everyone on the progress of Hive account@dstors at the next Steemfest.
