I am not sure but I think this is my third post about the small town of Souillac which I recently visited as part of a Canon Photo Walk for 2019.
My favorite subjects to photograph is probably old buildings. I've got a love for the history they represent. What has gone down in these buildings.
I sit and wonder as I look at the photos after the fact. Who has gotten married here, has been baptized here. Who's had their funeral here, ending the last chapter of their lives. What have these walls seen and heard that we'll never know.
So beautiful! I wished I could sit there the whole day and just be still.
My husband was surely enjoying the serenity and tranquility of this beautiful little church.
A view to the outside world.
This particular photo was not taken by me but by one of the other photographers that accompanied us, credit to Ashwin
I hope to one day return to this sacred place of prayer and spend an hour just soaking in the peace and quiet. I hope you enjoyed the photo journey with me!
