This is Pewitt's Nest out near the Driftless Region in Western Wisconsin. It is a giant gorge with water rushing through it, so you have to jump on top of small stones to travel up the gorge. Interesting spot
This is a road that runs through Devil's Lake, which is a hilly state park in Western Wisconsin. It is in the "Baraboo Range" which is full of large cliffs and hills.
This is actually the only "desert" in Wisconsin. There are cactuses, and a wide-open view as far as the eye can see, almost like a prairie landscape you would see in Wyoming or the Dakotas.
