It was another cold winter morning, I was sipping hot chocolate, contemplating the frozen snow when I spotted something moving by the tree. Another squirrel! I hurried to grab my camera and mount the 55-250mm lens, ready to shoot whatever that squirrel was willing to display.
No, I'm not going to bore with another squirrel story, in fact this one was doing something interesting. He appeared to not do much at all as he sat there on the right side of the tree's stem.
After a while, he started to move around, seemingly scouting the ice for some food.
A few minutes passed, he turned around and moved to the left side of the tree.
He sat there, holding a little snowball with his paws (gotta love that zoom lens). Maybe he was playing with it?
A few shots later, the snowball was gone, then he sat there again, not a blink, not a move, completely still. I thought he was meditating, but after a while of watching him, I understood was he was doing: he was basking in the sun!
One might think that furry animals are already warm with their insulating fur, nevertheless they do appreciate the warming rays on a cold day, just like I was doing while drinking my warm chocolate (without the furry coat of course). I smiled at that thought, put away my camera, then started my day on Steemit.

I wonder what happened to that snowball... maybe he ate it or whatever that was in it.
Note to self: I need a lens with a better zoom.
