Is this tired and uninspired? Nah. I don’t think so. It’s not often you get to look into an open elevator shaft. Watching the pulleys and weights work is fascinating stuff. And also a bit terrifying. But then again, it would take a catastrophic number of failures for that whole thing to break down.
Stanger things have happened.
This is actually the elevator at the Union Studios you’ve been seeing so many works from. Many an artist and model have braved this shaft.
