Hard to say. Is STEEM fully decentralized? If it is, it will probably keep living on. But even if it does, what about the site itself, Steemit.Com? If for some unforeseen reason the site is gone, is there another way to meaningfully interact with the STEEM blockchain? Do STEEM apis fully work even if the site itself isn't around?
