Anatase was first mentioned in writing in 1801 by René-Just Haüy, who is often referred to as the father of crystallography. The mineral can be found pretty much worldwide and it is created in different ways such as by metamorphic or with the help of volcanic rock. It is used to obtain titanium and the powder can also be used to produce color pigments and even if the processing is not very easy, it is still used as a gemstone.
It can also be used as a healing stone and help against mental blockages and it should also help to support the body in the absorption of nutrients. Anatase can also help from a spiritual point of view and affect the energy system of the body, which is called chakra system.
