Good day dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you had a day full of positive experiences! In this article I would like to discuss ancient Egypt and hope you can learn new things.
A sculpture depicting the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenemhet III can be seen here, who ruled during the 12th Dynasty and was considered an influential ruler of his time who ruled for a very long time. When it comes to his exact origin, many questions are left unanswered and some things are not clearly clarified and he was prepared early on by his father for his time as ruler and he left him already rule before his time as pharaoh and decided to appoint him as co-regent and who his mother was is not known. During this time, Egypt was considered a very stable country and during his reign, art and culture flourished and already during the rule of his father, Egypt had strong political relations with other countries and he Amenemhet III made sure to improve them even further and during his time, there were probably only a few wars and the morale in the country was very good and he was considered a popular ruler. He built numerous different buildings and he was also considered a great supporter of the art and had various statues as well as other artistic buildings built and it is believed that he saw himself as a God and accordingly he presented himself also in artistic form. In addition to political relations, he made it to his task to improve trade routes more and more and he specialised in particular in the mining of certain metals and minerals, which had helped Egypt to wealth, but he did not make himself popular with everyone because of the excessive expansion and it probably happened more often that traders were attacked or he had to expect enemy troops when he wanted to mine raw materials in other areas.
