Our most recent adventure - I had been dying to check out the treasures in my home state and finally had the chance to capture a few of them. Here are some recent photographs from Antelope Canyon, Arizona. Its easily accessible from Page, Arizona. There are tours that you take that cost around $30 per person. If you're interested in checking it out yourself, I would definitely recommend visiting on a weekday. It gets quite crowded. We had to wait over 3 hours in the sun in line, even with a reservation. Once inside however, the oranges and reds are worth the line.
All photographs are my own. All are shot handheld with a Canon 5D Mark iii and Canon 16-35L F/4. Tripods are often not allowed. Yes, the colors are that vibrant. I actually desaturated them a bit as they were too bright!
This is the Glen Canyon Dam just nearby. Definitely worth the stop.
Horseshoe bend is also just a short drive away. These colors are as shot with the use of a polarizer. The water is that green!
