Venezuela, land of thousands of places that can be described as Magical, Places that seem not to have changed over time, that the human hand has not come to destroy, one of those sanctuaries is located in the city of Puerto Ordaz and is called Parque La Llovizna (the drizzle park).
The park consists of a series of walkways, which are between concrete and land, that little by little enter you into the forest, where you can see animals, rivers, old bridges, and a wide variety of waterfalls, each with a different personality , but just as beautiful and dazzling, you can stay watching one for hours, and listening to its sound.
You can also enjoy the park from the water in first person, through catamarans that leave from a naval base called Puerto Orinoco, where from the dock you can taste fresh fish from the same river, in the restaurant that is right there, while you wait for the catamaran, or just at the end of the ride.
The experience with the catamaran is unique, there is a short trip of one hour and a long journey of 2 hours, I recommend making the long route, which includes the union of the two most important rivers of Venezuela, the Orinoco and Caroní, one of those unique things in the world, since the water of both rivers are of different color, one brown and the other black, also take you to a place called 'La Playa' (The Beach), where you can bathe in the Orinoco river, and the most special, They take you to the main waterfall and literally get into it from the catamaran.
The trips are unique experiences, this certainly was, there are still many beautiful things in our country, hidden places and that are not necessarily expensive, they are still totally affordable and accessible for all public.
