Hi gang!! its been a long time since I made a post (￣▽+￣*)
I've gotten a new job where I've been working over 50 hours a week to pay for my college which starts soon so I've been mainly focusing on that ∩(︶▽︶)∩ I've been wanting to make this post in so long and only recently edited the photos which is why I'm only making it now.
I've been only on the Saturday to the convention and my cosplay was an overnight decision which is why it's not the original but if you can guess I'm Ann Takamaki from Person 5. This is my most favorite photo from the whole day as I only found one person cosplaying from the same game and it was an amazing cosplay unlike my own! o(〃＾▽＾〃)o
MCM Comic Con happens in different countries and this year it was in Dublin. There were many events like talks, cosplay masquerade, gaming and etc. I was mainly interested in the merchandise area as I found a lot of nice little things from Japan and handmade jewelry.
There were even Japanese food stands (of course Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ ) like melon bread , pocky (Japanese candy sticks), drinks. The little shop I particularly liked had a tablet with an anime advertising the products they were selling which was really cute! The owner of the shop asked us to take a photo with their food when we bought it which I still need to find somewhere on the internet ヾ(´▽｀;)ゝ
There was a lot of clothing shops, anime and t-shirt shops and many more. My favorite was the lingerie, Gothic Lolita shop where a beautiful girl was selling original Japanese brands and handmade goodies.
It was basically a nerd paradise !!!! o(≧∇≦o)
I loved how freelance artists had their own stands as well and were selling their artwork in forms of posters, key-chains, earrings and magnets. I only took a picture of my favorite artist stand ( with permission of course ) and I also bought a large sized poster which is decorating my room right now (its the poster with two people holding each other and roses are below them) .
There was a lot of cosplayers whom made their own costumes or just bought them but nonetheless everyone looked amazing! Some were even acting like their character. For example there was an amazing cosplay of Donald Trump who was walking around giving political speeches with a smart face on 」(￣▽￣」) literally looked like Trump!
A lot of star wars characters were walking around and having fake fights in different locations. Inside you'd see them fighting, then outside when you go to get food they would just be chilling and eating burgers!
I didn't go to many of the activities that were happening but I managed to glance at a few like the robot fighting (Big hero 6 moment (゜▼゜＊） ) and the cosplay masquerade that my friend attended. Cosplayers were performing or just showing off their cosplay.
I'd love to see if anyone else here enjoys going to cons like this and anyone that takes photos of cosplayers. I've been to quite a few cons at this point so its like a hobby of mine °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
