The Red Panda will be one of the featured animals this summer in the Henry Doorly Zoo's "Asian Highland Experience". The "Asian Highland Experience" will also have a White-naped Crane, Tufted deer, Pere David's deer, and an Indian Rhino.

The Red Panda must have had a long journey from his home and is still suffering from jet lag. I say this because even near noon time the Red Panda was still sleeping. But alas, Red Pandas are more active around dawn and dusk.
