Back in business after a weekend watching the Neste Rally Finland, some partying, and maybe a not so creative hungover day. Now I'm back in work, both in my day job and this creative outlet I do mostly at night time. I've been pretty anxious for I haven't been able to create anything for almost a week.
I take new pictures of myself about four times a week now, and every time I do a post, I end up with a lot of pictures I don't use. Of course there are down right fails (which I might share in my Reality Check -series), and a lot of them, but then there are pictures I like but somehow don't end up in the final post. It might be because of some little technical issue, accidental interesting shot while adjusting the lighting but not having anything else ready, or that the overall mood doesn't suit the post. I'd like to share some of those leftover pictures with you and tell some backstories about them and maybe why they didn't get posted before.
Let's start with my first real post with some Old Hollywood vibes. I like this picture because I'm not really posing, just having a drink in the middle of shots. I was going out after taking these pictures and I wanted to get a little buzzed before heading out to face the cold December in my 5inch heels.
Captured in the middle of movement. I think I left this one out because I already had quite a few pictures in this post.
I'm not sure why I like this picture, my expression is a little snarky and my face is blown out, but there is just something about it that made it stand out from the other pictures. I remember trying to adjust the curves in Photoshop but it just made everything look wrong so I left it out.
This is one of those pictures that I probably just forgot to put up in the original post. I hope you enjoy it now!
On this set I was on a roll and got a lot of pictures that I could have posted but it would have looked stupid to post them all because they are very similar to each other. Do you like the little booty that sneaked in to the picture?
I really enjoy these in the middle of a movement kind of pictures, less posing, more realness. This one I left out because I didn't like my babyhairs sticking out in that angle, how stupid is that!? I could have photoshopped them away if I really wanted to but I'm lazy, doesn't that go well with the title Hedonistic Tendencies.
I'm trying this new thing of not over-analyzing every inch of myself and the pictures I take. I often find that images are more beautiful and interesting when they are not over processed and meticulously arranged. Some hairs out of place, little hints of the life I live in the corner of a picture, maybe some trash left in the floor.
PS. Did I get your mind off of Bitcoin even for a moment?
