The less there is on the photo, the more you pay attention to everything that is in it.
This image is a good example of a simple photograph that is not so great. The light is nice and soft, but the lines of the cabinets, mirror, doors and the floor, mess it all up. If the background was all white, or light grey, this would work a lot better.
The camera should be perfectly straight and level in X, Y and Z axis in an image like this that is shot from straight forwards, anything else will make the image look all warped, in a way that can't be fixed in photoshop. You are welcome to try but there is no fixing this one in post process, tilt one line straight, other one will be warped. This is something I really need to pay more attention to.
Taking bad photographs, posting them and reviewing them is good for practise and learning, and I hope while I learn, if you are also into photography, you might learn something with me too.
