"It's impossible to get a bad picture of you!"
"All your pictures are so good!"
Not true.
I only SHOW you the good ones, or at leats decent ones, but I take, and model in, a lot of really really bad pictures. I have had multiple requests to show the bad pictures, which I was first hesitant to do. Then I realised it could be helpful and interesting to see that a shoot that gives a few great results I share, comes with a lot of bad pictures in the process. My enormous ego needs this too, it's been getting a bit too blown up.
I think one of THE MOST IMPORTANT things about photography is evaluating your own work constantly and finding the flaws, and working out how to fix them. Photography in a sense is just problem solving, and I love a good puzzle.
You don't just one day learn to take pictures and then only take good ones from then on out. You will forever be taking bad ones too, but a great photographers can recognise the shots that work well and only showcase those.
You will need to evaluate your images during, after and between shoots. It's also important to understand what is possible for you to achieve with your subject, surroundings, the light that is available and the gear you have, time is also a variable. For example if you have a 35mm lens with a max aperture of f4, there is no way you can completely blow out the background of the portrait. You will, with time and practise, learn to recognise potential and know when you are getting close to something that will work out. Sometimes you hit it on one go, sometimes you use hours tweaking different things to get to a point where you can finally start to really shoot good pictures.
Always search for inspiration and learn techniques from amazing photographers, but it's still more important to work with your own skillset, tools and vision to create the best possible art you can.
I look at my own pictures way more than I look at other people's. Let that be a lesson on life in general; you focus on what you do, not what other people do.
I usually try not to take bad pictures (obviously) but when I do, which is every time, I will discard the most obviously bad ones in camera and they never even make it to the computer. But I do have loads of bad pictures saved up and taking the data space. Lucky for you, since you asked for them. Here is a random collection of bad pictures, unretouched (other than bw added).
