But those Cosmos flowers are definitely not bursting with joy. The season for them is almost over and you can tell by the look of the petals that they are growing on the last reserves.
The colours are still amazing. But the petals are deformed, some are missing, some don't open fully.
It is still nice to see them right outside my balcony door when I drink my morning coffee. But I know winter is coming and I will have to clean the leftovers soon. Hope that they will grow back next year.
There was some seed pods on older ones so I left the seeds in the soil where they grew. Almost like in wild nature. Let them be and they will know when to sprout.
Good news is... that I have them in one pot with my Anemones and I saw first leaves popping. Great timing! One flowers gone, another ones will grow and bloom. I love it like that! :)
