This is way beyond seed pods that like so much. The pods form this lovely star, a bit like anise. Then they crack open to release itsy bitsy tiny seeds and this is what is left after all the seeds are gone.
Those empty pockets then look like flower petals.
The rusty orange colour instead of typical dry beige-grey is a huge onus here if you ask me. Just love those tones.
