Seed pods after season [4 photos]

Those are some really tough seed pods. I photographs them in late spring when all the flowers were already starting to boom. And those were still hanging on there. Though the last summer, autumn, rainy and winy winter (that's probably when they lost their seeds) and spring.
You can see that they are pretty bashed...

I think they come from some type of Rockrose. There were lots of them there, but this bush didn't open the flowers yet.

Seed pods are one of my favourite things to shoot. So many shapes and sizes!
