One of the giants of Cathedral Grove, an incredible old growth forest on Vancouver Island, BC. This forest has trees over 800-1000 years old, and they seem to go on forever when you look up. Powerful wind storms brought many of them down but they are left there, and new trees just grow from the old. Quite amazing. Now I just need to go see the Redwoods of California! 😍
