This is a wildfire that was raging two years ago in Croatia. I took it with my smartphone from the balcony. The thing is that there's an big international airport on other side canal and the smoke pretty much shut down all air traffic. I remember the chaos it caused because it was in the middle of tourist season. However I kept admiring the scope of it and scope of the smoke it produced. Later it was put out by using specialized aircrafts. That was cool to watch as well.
