Good morning everyone!
This will be my first hiking post on the blog. A couple friends and I left the Tacoma area and took the 2.5 hour drive south to Mount St. Helens to start our hike up Harry's Ridge at 5 am. It is around 8-9 miles up and back with around 1,000 feet of elevation gain. It was a pretty easy hike with fantastic views of Mount St. Helens the majority of the time. Along with the beautiful mountain view you also get to see many different wildflowers and small critters such as chipmunks. I highly recommend anyone in the PNW to make the trip and check out this beautiful area. Let me know what you would like to hear about during these hiking posts below!
