Portland Plants 4:
There is a Thai restaurant not too far from my place so I walked there and brought my camera. Though I'm still finding new plants, I'm seeing a lot of the same plants over and over. At first, I tried to ignore them and look for new plants, but some are so cool that I can't help but to snap a few photos.
Here are some of my photos from the walk.
I'd seen this plant closed up all winter. Now it has opened up and is showing its true colors.
I hope I'll get to see this tree when it really starts blooming.
Anyone know what kind of tree this is?
This tree looks similar to the tree above. Maybe it's just a late bloomer.
To me, it the branches of this tree kind of look like spider feet or the arms of a giant insect.
I don't know what this plant is either, but I like the freckles on the pedals.
This is some sort of berry bush.
Everywhere you turn in Portland, Cherry Blossoms are blooming. It seems like I have a million Cherry Blossom photos, but I can't stop myself from taking a photo when I see them.
The shape of this tree seemed pretty unique.
That does it for this outing. I hope you've enjoyed some of my photos.
