Took this a few years ago. Tree is still there but being fall it's not in bloom now. Not entirely sure what kind of tree this is. It could be a smoke tree but I've been told they don't get that big. Don't know if you can see in the photo but it is so big I had to tie it up. There is a 4x6 piece of treated edging timber (you can see some between the white stones and the dirt sections) driven behind it. It's secured with old garden hoses and some cat5 scraps. Used those because they will stretch some and not dig into the tree. It blooms mostly pink but it seems like there is always one spot that blooms yellow.
There is also one really nice rosebush down below it. I believe it is called Seven Sisters as each bud produces 7 small roses instead of one big one. Unfortunately that is no longer there. Had some landscaping work done last fall and they took it out. Wanted to kill them for that one.
