Saturation:
"... the intensity of a colour, expressed as the degree to which it differs from white."
Having worked my adult life with printing and graphic design, one has learned the clear, crisp colors are the ones that prints best. Back in the good old days, I even exaggerated it just to make an image pop when printed.
